A.  Once you have spoken with a Young’s Web Designs consultant, you will receive an electronic copy of our Website Survey & Planning document. A simple planning tool designed to help you gather and organize the content and look for your new website. If you are unsure of the correct package for your business or require some presales assistance, we would welcome the opportunity to meet with you and discuss the project. Once the website survey has been finalized and all of the accompanying artwork has been received, our development team will begin preparing a concept design for your website.

Q.  Do you offer website maintenance packages?

A.  Of course! Young’s Web Designs offers a range of maintenance plans designed to save you time and ensure that your website is constantly reflecting a fresh look with the most up to date content.

Q.  Do I need to purchase a website domain name?

A.  No, all you have to do is choose the right one and we will do the rest. Our website design and development packages include registration of a .com domain name for 1 year, as well as the domain configuration required to make it work with your website.

Q.  What if I already have a website domain name?

A.  No problem! We’ll gladly transfer your existing domain name to our servers free of charge!  Or depending on analysis and recommendations, we can just take over and build the site where it is currently registered.  We have partnerships, expertise and opportunities to build your website on a multitude of different hosting companies.  As long as our software is compatible, we can work with them.  We will assess what you currently have and provide you with the best possible, most cost-effective solution to your business needs.

Q.  How long will it take to build my Web site?

A.  The development time depends on the requirements of your website. The most basic of websites can be up and running in as little as 48 hours. Typically, we aim to deliver your website within 2-3 weeks. Contact us for more information.

Q.  Can Young’s Web Designs provide graphics that are relevant to my business?

A.  Yes! Young’s Web Designs can use a combination of stock photography and images/graphics that relate to your business or industry to help create a professional design for your website.  Photography also available upon request.

Q.  What happens to my domain name and e-mail if I cancel my service?

A.  The domain name included with your account is registered in your name. If you decide to cancel your plan, you can choose to transfer your domain name to another provider. You will have to re-configure your e-mail addresses with the new servers settings. We can provide you with a static output of your website for transfer if required.

Q.  Can Young’s Web Designs help me promote my website?

A.  Yes! As a standard procedure for all websites, we align our design principles with commonly accepted benchmarks for search engine optimization. All of our packages include full keyword, page title and meta-tag administration tools to increase the likelihood of a favorable search engine ranking.

Q.  How do I pay for additional services such as website maintenance, local search marketing and/or online marketing?

A.  Young’s Web Designs offers our clients webmail services, allowing you to access your email from any internet-enabled computer. just log on to http://webmail.{yourwebdomain}.com and enter your complete email address and password to get to your webmail control panel.  We also offer POP & Imap configuration that works great with smartphones and tablets.
